AFTA Council Meets with Opposition Leader and Shadow Minister
Yesterday, the AFTA Council had the opportunity to meet with the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Bernard Grech, and Shadow Minister Ivan Castillo. This important meeting served as a platform to introduce AFTA’s mission, share ongoing initiatives, and discuss the evolving landscape of the recruitment and employment sector.
Central to the discussion was the new licensing framework, a key development in the industry that AFTA has actively supported. The Council also highlighted the challenges currently facing the sector and emphasized the importance of collective engagement in raising standards and ensuring fair practices.
The meeting reaffirmed AFTA’s commitment to working collaboratively across the political spectrum to advocate for policies that benefit both agencies and employees. We look forward to continuing this dialogue and building partnerships that support the growth and integrity of our industry.
